Launching a new blog is always exciting and also kinda nerve wracking, because you have no idea how it will turn out. However, it’s not that new for me, because this blog is a relaunch. Back in the day I used to blog at a different platform, where I wasn’t that free about the design. I stopped posting on that blog about a year ago, but now I’m back so I thought it would be a great idea to give it a clean slate. Let’s talk about what you can expect.
So what can you expect?
Most of the time readers only write about what they’ve bought and read. I would like to add more to that. I studied media design, so I would like to talk about book covers as well. I’m also thinking about even recreating book covers how I would like to see them and make a series out of it. That won’t happen for a while though, but I hope I can start that series at least this year.
I also want to give this blog a purpose for readers that live outside of English speaking countries. As a European citizen I find it a struggle to find bookstores that have a wide selection of English books. I would like to discover more of those who do and review and/or recommend them. Because we all order on amazon.de etc. and even though it’s the easiest and cheapest option, it may not be the most eco-friendly one. My goal is to change that and it might not be an easy one. I think it’ll be manageable if we do that together.
And of course I’ll be posting book hauls, tbr’s, wrap-ups, tags and tips & tricks as well. I missed blogging so much so I’m really excited that I’m back!
