Last, current, next is be a series where I talk about my last read, my current read and my next read. I really think this is a fun way to show you guys what I just read, am reading and excited to read. That way you get to know me a little bit better without me doing reviews. I got this idea from A Day In Bookland, but we have no idea who came up with it.
Last
My last read it Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams. I have to say that I’m loving this companion series so so much. What I like the most is that it’s a romance series from a guy’s perspective as well. Are they a bit unrealistic? Yes, but still super fun to read. I actually started reading the next book, Crazy Stupid Romance because I just couldn’t let go of this universe.
Current
I’m currently reading The Word For Woman is wilderness by Abi Andrews which is about a 19 year old girl who want to go on a journey to Alaska. It’s a lot about feminism and why it’s so normal for a man to go on a trip like that but not for a woman. I’m really liking it so far (I’m not even 10 percent in it), but I find the way of telling the story a bit off. It’s like a journal style but with loads of facts and information. I don’t mind the journal style, but I don’t like all the facts so much. I hope that’ll go away once she’s at her destination.
Next
I’m really excited to read We Are The Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson. This is a Young Adult lgtbq+ science fiction. I’ve actually read the first few pages a while ago and it blew my mind. I guess I haven’t read it because I’m looking for the right time to dive into it.
